about

how it works

you enter your @, then prove the account is yours by tweeting a short one-time phrase from it (which you can delete right after — it's only read once). once verified, you pick three people from your mutuals — the people you follow who follow you back.

once a month, every voter can come back and update their three. rounds open on the first of each calendar month, the same instant for everyone. between rounds, your picks stand.

how the ranking is computed

a top 1 pick is worth three points, a top 2 is worth two, a top 3 is worth one. handles are sorted by total points across every voter, ties broken by how many distinct voters chose them, then alphabetically.

no algorithm. no follower count. no engagement. just who matters to whom, three at a time.

data & privacy

we store your handle, the three handles you picked, and your verification timestamp. your verification tweet is read once — not stored, not re-checked. your mutuals list is cached for 24h so you don't have to wait through a re-scrape if you change your mind quickly.

transparency

votes aren't encrypted on the server — encrypting them would silo each device (you'd lose your past picks if you switched browsers) and the leaderboard wouldn't work without heavy cryptography. so they sit readable in the database.

that said: i don't read them, i don't export them, i won't leak them. the delete button below wipes everything in one click.
